Architecture 372 focuses on the study of place.  The site studied for this museum was in the Lower East Side of Manhattan in New York City.  Much research and site analysis was done in the initial stages of design to get an idea of the character of the area and context.  After a studio trip to visit the site, there was a much better understanding of the nature of the site and how to begin to design a successful museum in the area.
